The Invisalign technicians use a 3-D model in concurrence with the images we send. They then feed them digitally and arrive at how the teeth would move to the desired position. The teeth movement would be gradual and would be in stages. This movement is fed as a video, passed on to us and we would share the same with you. You get to choose if the movement of the teeth is desirous. You can then give us the go-ahead to manufacture the set of aligners. Once we receive the go-ahead from you, we place the order with the Invisalign Technicians. They take few days to execute the order and send us the set of Invisalign aligners.

Depending on the complexity of the movement and the time-frame, the number of aligners given to you would vary. You will be required to wear each aligner in a sequence for two weeks each. The order of wearing would be marked and given to you along with clear instructions by the orthodontist at Smile One.

Wearing Invisalign

You need to ensure you wear Invisalign aligners for a minimum of 22 hours in a day. This means you need to wear even when you are asleep. You will get used to it though you might feel slightly uncomfortable in the initial days.

But while you are brushing, flossing and rinsing your mouth, you can remove the aligner for the brief period. When you are drinking any dark colored beverage or when you are eating a food that can stain, you can remove them. This is the ease Invisalign offers and that is why more are people choosing them.

Dental Visits after Wearing Invisalign
